Why is Master Rob so invaluable?
FiveStar Martial Arts School has been developed by Master Robert Cooley with evolution of Martial Arts in mind with the strong traditional values of the Martial Arts. Master Cooley is the most successful coach in the progression of Taekwondo and Sport Taekwondo in the Region and unlikely to be surpassed.
After a long and successful career with a rise to management levels quite quickly in the rail industry at a young age. Master Rob has overseen large staffing projects, routine and renewal construction, and emergency response over vast areas of the rail industry.
With a successful history of Coaching in Taekwondo at the elite international level, Master Rob has honed his skills in the areas of personal development and the maximising of potential within individuals, groups and organisations. A Olympic selector, chairman of the National Sports Board through to Beijing Olympics, also a National team Coach. Formerly a National, NSW and VIC Champion whilst in a previous era being a team member of a very successful schoolboy Rugby League Team (Ashcroft High). These experiences are were Master Rob honed his physical attributes and personal development skills that will be providing the guidance to help you or your child be more successful in life. Master Rob has received a Australia Government Sports Achievement Award and International commendations for Taekwondo as well as many accolades from in his former career in industry.
Master Rob has been successful at the highest levels whatever he endeavoured to do, and he would love that to rub off onto you.

- 6th Dan Examiner WTF Recognised (able to grade to 5th Dan)
- REIKI Practitioner Master Teacher Level 3
- Australian Team Coach 2001, 2003, 2004, 2006.
- Australian Team Manager-Australian Head of Team
- NSW Coaching Director 2005-2006. NSW Coach.
- NSW, VIC and National Champion Sparring. (Only Illawarra Instructor or athlete to do so)
- Commendation for Service World Taekwondo Federation.
- Commendation Kukkiwon Taekwondo Academy.
- Coach to Gold, Silver and Bronze International Medallist.
- Performed Demonstrations and taught in Korea.
- One of the most successful Schools in Australia.
- Awarded Best Instructor NSW by TAI NSW.
- Commonwealth Sports Award 2008 For Taekwondo/Martial Arts.
